The MPT Blueprint: Building the New You
At Madden Performance Training, we believe that every transformation begins with a solid foundation. Just like constructing a building, your body needs structural integrity before it can support strength, speed, and power. That’s why our training model follows a strategic, five-phase progression—each phase building upon the last to ensure long-term success and injury prevention.
Phase 1: Stability
This is the foundation. Without proper joint stability—especially in the ankles, knees, hips—and core control, the body cannot safely or effectively handle load or movement. We focus on balance, posture, and neuromuscular control to create a stable base for everything that follows.

Phase 2: Strength Endurance
Once stability is established, we develop muscular endurance—the ability to sustain effort over time. This phase improves cardiovascular efficiency and muscular resilience, preparing your body for more intense training while reinforcing movement quality.
Phase 3: Muscular Development
Here, we focus on hypertrophy—building lean muscle mass. This phase enhances body composition, increases metabolic rate, and lays the groundwork for greater strength. It’s where the visible transformation begins.
Phase 4: Maximum Strength
With a solid base and developed musculature, we now train the body to produce maximum force. This phase improves joint integrity, bone density, and overall strength capacity, setting the stage for explosive performance.
Phase 5: Power
The peak of the pyramid. Power is the ability to exert force quickly—essential for athletes and anyone looking to move with speed and efficiency. This phase combines strength with velocity, unlocking your full performance potential.
